We are thrilled to announce that our “Going Off Grid” event held on March 29, 2023, at North Metropolitan TAFE, East Perth campus had a remarkable outcome!
Attendees from across the clean energy sector had an informative session about the latest developments in off-grid energy solutions including how microgrids can support sustainability, reliable and cost-effective energy management within a geographic footprint. They also got insights into how coastal and regional energy management systems can isolate themselves from the traditional power grid while maintaining stable energy supply.
Special thanks to our speakers:
- Debi Prasad Dash – Executive Director, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA).
- Bill Grace – Adjunct Professor, The University of Western Australia‘s Australian Urban Design Research Centre.
- Chris Kearney – CEO, Wind With Purpose.
With support from our partners, including India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, North Metropolitan TAFE (Susan Weary), Innovate Australia (Peter Kasprzak, Stephen Carroll, Adam Osseiran), Regional Development Australia Perth (Colleen Yates MBA), ARNOWA (Om Dubey), and General MicroGrids, Inc.
